Bennett, an infielder who primarily plays third base, has experience in the American Association having played for the Lincoln Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, and most recently the Chicago Dogs. Bennett has Triple-A experience on his resume with the Sacramento River Cats, the minor league affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.
A 6’3” left-handed batter, Bennett brings a veteran bat with power to the middle of the DockHounds lineup. In 2021, he hit an impressive .357 with the Chicago Dogs including 9 home runs and 40 RBI’s in 52 games played. Over the course of his career and especially in the American Association, Bennett has proven to be a reliable hitter and a versatile infielder capable of playing multiple positions when needed.
