Connor Bagnieski

“I’m blessed to be able to continue my professional career and play my first season in the American Association with the DockHounds. Being a Wisconsin kid, it means a lot to me to represent a team from my home state and I can’t wait to play in front of family, friends, and all the DockHounds fans.”

Bagnieski is a 2B who played his college ball for the Radford University Highlanders. Prior to that, he spent time in the Northwoods League with the Green Bay Bullfrogs and the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League with the St. Clair Green Giants

In his lone season at Radford, Bagnieski was a nightmare for opposing teams on the bases, stealing 11 bases in just 45 games. At the plate, he’s often hit leadoff or near the top of the order as a great contact hitter who poses a serious threat once on base. Bagnieski was a USPBL league MVP candidate last season with a .346 batting average and a .954 OPS. On the defensive side, Bagnieski has been rock-solid as a second baseman with a good glove and great positional awareness.
