11 Aaron Hill

From Connecticut, infielder Aaron Hill stayed in his home state to play his college ball at UConn. After four seasons with the Huskies, Hill wasn’t ready to give up baseball and joined the professional ranks of MLB Partner Leagues.

His first stop was in 2018 with the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League. In two seasons there, the rookie thrived with an OPS north of .830 in both seasons. The American Association had a handful of teams play in 2020, which opened the door for Aaron to join the Milwaukee Milkmen. He helped Milwaukee win its only championship and decided to stick with the Milkmen.

His 2021 and 2022 seasons saw more success with an .840 OPS in both and a combined 20 home runs. After 2023, Hill was able to play in the Atlantic League with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, where he slugged a career-high 20 home runs.

Following his season in 2024, Hill got the opportunity to play internationally for the first time. Going south to Puerto Rico, Hill played for the Leones de Ponce in 19 games. Now, he’s back in the state of Wisconsin, this time for the good boys in blue, the DockHounds.
