Born in Fort Lauderdale, Daunte Stuart played high school baseball at the prestigious program for The Woodlands before earning a DI home at Northwestern State in the Southland Conference in 2020.
Despite COVID ending his first season early, he contributed back-to-back 30 RBI seasons in 2021 and 2022. Following the 2022 season, he signed with the West Virginia Black Bears of the MLB Draft League where he played in 17 games and hit .280.
He went back to Louisiana for another 55 games his senior season with another 40 RBI to his name before returning to the Draft League with the Williamsport Crosscutters in 2023. He ended his 2023 season as the No. 8 Southland Conference Draft Prospect according to D1Baseball.com.
Stuart’s COVID-granted year was spent in 2024 at the University of Memphis, where he hit .326 in 55 games for the Tigers with a career-high 8 home runs.
The newly formed Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League offered Stuart his first pro contract in 2024, where the outfielder played in 38 games, slugging another 7 home runs in 140 ABs.
