9 Kelvan Pilot

Four years following his collegiate baseball tenure at the JuCo and NAIA level, Kelvan Pilot began his professional career at the lowest possible level: the Pecos League. Fortunately, Pilot did not last long there, making his way to the Pioneer League to pitch for Grand Junction and then the Billings Mustangs in 2021.

Pilot’s first true professional season continued with Billings in 2022 for 80.2 innings before joining the Missoula PaddleHeads to start 2023. Mid way through that season, Pilot was traded to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to begin his time in the American Association. In 44 innings with the RedHawks, Pilot posted a 3.68 ERA.

2024 began in Fargo for Pilot, but another midseason trade landed him in Lake Country in return for Marcus Chiu. The DockHounds do not make the Miles Wolff Cup playoffs with Pilot’s eight starts following the all-star break.

Kelvan will open the 2025 season in the DockHounds starting rotation. Statistics button
