Think you’ve got the cutest Hound in Lake Country? Well, here’s your chance to have your pup included in our 2024 Dogs Of Lake Country Calendar sponsored by Visit Oconomowoc! We’re looking for the “Top Dogs” in the area and if chosen as a winner, not only will you achieve celebrity dog owner status, you’ll also receive (5) FREE copies of the calendar to share with your dog’s biggest superfans and (2) tickets to attend one of our dog-themed events at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park!

This is a calendar with a cause – a portion of all proceeds will be donated to our friends at the HAWS of Waukesha County. 

Here’s How it Works: 

1. Submit your best photo of your four-legged friend using the form below. (Submissions will be accepted September 1st through September 10th) 
2. DockHounds staff will judge and select the top 24 photo submissions. 
3. Tell all your friends and family to vote for your pup when the top 24 have been chosen. (Voting will be open from September 25 through September 10pm on September 28)) 

Photo Submission Guidelines 

1. All photos submitted must be 300 dpi or better resolution to ensure quality in printing (As a reference, an iPhone 8 or any newer model can take photos with high enough resolution).
2. Landscape (horizontal) orientation is preferred over portrait (vertical). 
3. Props are allowed, but keep in mind that your cute pup should be the star of the photo.
4. While props are allowed, humans are not. Please only submit photos of your furry friends. 
5. Only one photo entry per person. Entrants who submit multiple photos will be disqualified. 

Photo Judging Criteria 

1. Our staff wants to see creativity! Whether that’s with props, scenery, or something else you come up with.
2. Bonus points for dock and lake photos! 
3. Any photos submitted that don’t meet the resolution quality or feature humans will be automatically disqualified.
