10 Adam Cootway

Hailing from De Pere, Adam Cootway was an all-conference selection in baseball as a junior for Fox Valley Lutheran High School, where he also lettered in basketball and football.

His collegiate trek began at nearby St. Norbert’s College in 2021. In 27 starts for the Green Knights, he hit .380 with 24 RBI. The infielder spent time that summer with the Northwoods’ Green Bay Rockers before returning to St. Norbert’s for 37 more games his sophomore year.
In 2023, the utility infielder transferred to Division III powerhouse Wisconsin-Whitewater. In 40 starts, he clubbed 15 home runs, slugging a .933 clip with an OPS of 1.493. In 52 games that summer with the Lakeshore Chinooks, Cootway collected 29 more RBI while working 27 walks.
Back at Whitewater in 2024, he hit .352 in 30 games for a team that lost in the Division III World Series to Misericordia before bouncing to another Wisconsin Northwoods team. With the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, he climbed to a .337 average through 29 games.
2025 began with another season of eligibility at Whitewater, and Cootway turned in a .425/.514/.854 slash line with 22 home runs. The Warhawks brought home a National Championship after dismantling Messiah. Now, he stays in his home state and begins his professional baseball career with the Lake Country DockHounds.
