From Mosinee, Wisconsin, the righty pitched collegiately at DIII’s Wisconsin-Stout for five years from 2018 to 2022 where he appeared in 37 games with 20 starts and a 3.95 ERA through 139 innings.

Baumann played in the Northwoods League for four summers for the Wausau Woodchucks from 2019-2022. In 96.1 Northwoods innings, he had a 1.266 WHIP with 54 strikeouts.

Baumann’s only stop playing baseball outside of the Badger State was in 2023 & 2024 for the United Shore Baseball League’s Utica Unicorns.  He made 24 appearances for Utica in 2023, but really thrived in his second year with the Unicorns by posting a 3.28 ERA in 35.2 innings.

Now, he’s getting the opportunity to pitch professionally and locally in his home state with the Lake Country DockHounds.
